Leeds Spiders (2)  Home  game back to winning ways..

Spiders started with our best combination Andy Smith, Nick Smith, Jamie Stead, Joshua Gardner, and Captain Andy Atkinson whilst warming the bench Coral Batey, Sophie Carrigill, Paul Cartwright and Dane Lill. The five worked well with some neat passing and movement, also debut baskets for Dane Lill put Spiders on top after first 10min 14-4

The second quarter was a quiet affair with maulers coming off better, finishing the first Half 18-12.

The second half started slow until after 5min, in which Andy Smith got his shooting back to normal, hitting 7 baskets .  40-20.

The final quarter well and the subs bench refreshed time for the Girls to get some court time, which came half way through with an oustan  a debut basket for Coral Batey and a beauty from Sophie Carrigill to finish the match 48-31 to the Spiders (2).

Spiders Head Coach, John Sharp, said “A Good Win, and hard work”.

Lead Scorers: Andy Smith 20 points, Jamie Stead 16 Points and Dane Lill, Andy Atkinson  4 points each, and Sophie Carrigill and Coral 2 points each
